MEET OUR TEAM
Gregory R. Vanni is the managing partner of Thon Beck Vanni Callahan & Powell and a past president of the Pasadena Bar Association. He was recognized by the Consumer Attorneys of California with their highest honor, the 2014 Consumer Attorney of the Year Award. Mr. Vanni earned his B.A. at California State Polytechnic University and his J.D. from Loyola Law School.
Kevin K. Callahan is a partner at Thon Beck Vanni Callahan & Powell and President Elect of the Pasadena Bar Association. A graduate of Brown University, Mr. Callahan earned his J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law in 1984.
Daniel P. Powell is a partner at Thon Beck Vanni Callahan & Powell and a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Powell earned his B.S. from the University of California and his J.D. from the University of La Verne College of Law, La Verne, California.
Michael P. O’Connor is an associate at Thon Beck Vanni Callahan & Powell. Mr. O’Connor earned his B.A. at John Carroll University and his J.D. from the State University of New York, Buffalo School of Law, in 1997.
Raffi H. Ohanian practices law primarily in the areas of catastrophic personal injuries, product liability, toxic torts, and professional liability. He was admitted to the California Bar in 2007 after earning a J.D. that year from Southwestern School of Law and a B.A. from Loyola Marymount University in 2004. Prior to joining Thon Beck Vanni Callahan & Powell, Mr. Ohanian was a Senior Associate at a nationally-known, Los Angeles-based law firm.
Thomas Patrick Beck, retired partner, earned his J.D. at Loyola Law School in 1977. Mr. Beck is an extensively published legal writer and the recipient of a number of honors and awards from community and legal associations. He is actively involved in community service and charitable activities, and he currently serves as a member of the Arcadia, California City Council.
