Thomas Patrick Beck is a retired partner with Thon Beck Vanni Callahan & Powell. Mr. Beck earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1977. He is an extensively published legal writer on personal injury topics ranging from auto insurance to traumatic brain injury. Mr. Beck is also the recipient of a remarkable number of honors and awards from community and legal associations. He remains actively involved in community service and a number of charitable activities, and he currently serves as a member of the City Council.in Arcadia, California.

Thomas P. Beck was designated as a Super Lawyer in a Los Angeles Magazine survey of his peers every year from 2005 through 2013. He was also named a top attorney in personal injury by Pasadena Magazine each year from 2009 through 2012. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He received the President’s Award of Merit from the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles in 2008; the Donald R. Wright Distinguished Service Award from the Pasadena Bar Association, also in 2008; the Daniel O’Connell Award from the Irish American Bar Association in 2012; and the Lifetime Achievement for Exemplary Community Service Award from the Pasadena Bar Association in 2013. His many charitable activities include service to the Methodist Hospital Foundation, Loyola Marymount University, and the St. Thomas More Society of Los Angeles. In 2008, he served in Guatemala as part of a medical team sponsored by HELPS International. Mr. Beck has also managed or coached at least a dozen Little League teams.
